INGA BOLTE, age 97, of Luverne, passed away peacefully at the Tuff Memorial Home in Hills, MN; on Wednesday, October 26, 2011. She was born March 10, 1914 in Hills, MN; to parents Julius and Olga  (Carlson) Hillerud.
  Inga was married to Edward Bolte on September 30, 1943 in Ivanhoe, MN. She and her husband, Edward, owned and operated a farm in Elkton, SD; which they later sold and moved to Altamont, SD; where they raised their seven children. After a fire destroyed their business, they moved to Luverne, MN; where Inga and her husband owned Manitou Hotel. After her husband’s passing she moved to the Centennial Apartments in Luverne, MN.
  In addition to raising seven children, she enjoyed bingo, reading, Lawrence Welk, Polka music, flowers, especially cactus, line and ballroom dancing, and family and friends. She was also very artistic and enjoyed many crafts over the years. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
  Inga is survived by her children, Carol Niemann of Castlewood, SD; Jean (Gary) Froyd of Colorado Springs, CO; Doris Bolte of Colorado Springs, CO; Linda (John) DeHaan of Sioux Falls, SD; James (Veronica) Bolte of Ely, MN; and Bruce Bolte of Hills, MN; one sister Ollie Allstot of Oregon, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward Bolte in 1984 son, Gary Bolte on June 18, 2002 brothers and sisters, Henry, John, Albert, Oscar, Clara, Evelyn, Jennett, Mabel, Marjorie and Arthur.    
   Visitation will be from 4-6 pm Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Luverne; and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Funeral will be 11 am Saturday at the United Methodist Church, in Luverne, officiated by Rev. Donn Rakow. Burial will be in the Maplewood Cemetery in Luverne.
