   LEILA BONNIE MARSH, age 94, of Worthington, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at The Crossroads Care Center in Worthington. She was born September 28, 1922, to John and Viola (Myers) Westerbur, at Coleharbor, ND. Leila moved at a young age with her parents to the Luverne area; later moving to Aurora, where she graduated from High School.

   Leila met Gilbert George Marsh, they married December 3, 1938, living and working on farms for the next few years. They were blessed with four children. They were her pride and joy.

   She was a homemaker, loved to cook, bake, sew, crochet, knit, made many craft items, did a lot of canning, loved working in her garden and flowers. She loved to sing and play harmonica and guitar. She and her husband loved dancing, fishing, hunting and enjoyed traveling. Leila worked at Campbell Soup Company, in Worthington, for thirty two years retiring in 1985. She loved her church, was a deacon and had various volunteer positions, also honored as a Women of the Year at Westminster Presbyterian Church, receiving a beautiful pin. She was Coordinator of the Manna food pantry for five years. She was a member of Eastern Star, Ramford Chapter #43.

   Leila is survived by a son, Richard (Carolyn) Marsh, Kennewick, WA; daughter, Geraldine (Arvin) DeBerg, Belding, MI; son-in-law Stanley Reese, Ft. Worth, TX; ten grandchildren, Dennis, Robin, Richard Jr Marsh, Brian, Timothy DeBerg and Bonnie DeBerg Petersen, Rodney Reese, Jodee Reese Tousignant, Shelly Reese Clark and Karen Reese; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren, Emmett James DeBerg and Nathaniel Morse; four step grandchildren; and twenty one step great grandchildren; a brother, Cecil “Mike” Westerbur, Billings, MT a sister, Bernice Marsh, Wenatchee, WA; three sisters-in-law, Dolores Westerbur, Reles, WA; Vivian Westerbur, Campoverde, OR; Edna Marsh,

Worthington; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceding her in death her husband Gilbert; two daughters, Sharon Marsh & Joan Marsh Reese; her parents; two brothers; and one great grandson, Tad Michael DeBerg.

A funeral will be 1:30 PM Monday, April 3, 2017, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, in Worthington, officiated by Pastors Galen Smith, James Krapf & Jonathon Nau. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday, April 3. Burial will be in the Hersey Cemetery in Brewster.

   Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington, is in charge of arrangements.
