WILBUR JOHN SHERFIELD, age 76, of Ellsworth, formerly of Rushmore, died Friday, November 24, 2006 at the Park View Manor Nursing Home in Ellsworth. Wilbur was born on September 5, 1930 to parents Charles and Martha (Johnson) Sherfield in Rushmore. Wilbur attended Rushmore Public School. After his schooling he worked for Hatting Construction until retiring in the early 1980’s. Wilbur is only survived by cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
