FRANK HEIDEMAN, age 73, formerly of Rushmore and Worthington, died Sunday, August 23, 2009 at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Luverne, MN. He was born January 29, 1936 in Sibley, Iowa to parents Henry and Anna (Bastow) Heideman. He attended rural school in Ransom Township at District #21.
After his schooling he remained on the family farm in Ransom Township and farmed with his family. He served his country in the United States Army from August 5, 1958 and served in Alaska and he received his honorable discharge on May 9, 1960.
Frank then continued farming with his brothers, Jim and Henry. Later, he started his tiling business located in Olney Township south west of Rushmore where he farmed also. In January of 1987 he was united in marriage to Beverlee Funk and were later divorced.
Frank is survived by his brother, Jim (Gloria) Heideman, Rushmore , two sisters, Minnie Fath, Windom; and Etta Remhoff, AppleValley; sister-in-law, Rosemary Heideman, Rushmore; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, John, Frederick, Henry and Albert and sisters, Ann Ennenga and Margaret Grimmius.
