Kimberly R. Lane, age 26, of rural Luverne, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at the Sanford Luverne Community Hospital. She was born August 13, 1983, in Brookings, SD, to Kim Lane.
In July, she began working at Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Counsel, in Worthington, as the Head Start Coordinator. Kimberly enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Kimberly is survived by two daughters, Isabelle Hoiland, and Cambria Janshen; her fiancée, Calvin Janshen,and his daughter, Megan, rural Luverne; mother, Kim Lane, Spirit Lake, IA; brother, Kurtis (Fiancée, Meghan Staples) Lane, Sioux Falls, SD; maternal grandmother, Carol Lukenbill, St. Paul; paternal grandmother, Donna Lane, Wallingford, IA; uncle, Terry (Melody) Lukenbill, Mora; three aunts, Jodi Lukenbill, St. Paul; Melissa Lane, Sioux Falls, SD; and Monica (Doug) Kennebec, Cherokee, IA; and many cousins & friends.
She was preceded in death by her two grandfathers, Vernal Lukenbill & John Lane.
