ROCIO V. QUITANILLA DOMINGUEZ, age 24 of Worthington, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011, as a result of an automobile accident east of Luverne. She was born January 19, 1987, in San Rafael Oriente, San Miquel, El Savadore, to Salvador de Jesus and Rosenda (Quitanilla) Domiguez. Rocio graduated from South High School in Denver, CO. She graduated with honors and received The Capital First Student Award. Rocio moved, with her family, to Denison, IA, in June of 1997. In 2000, she moved to Arlington, VA. She moved to Denver, CO, in 2001. In 2007, she moved back to Denison before moving to Worthington in 2008. She worked at Golden Plump in Luverne. Rocio is survived by her partner, Boanerges Rivera, Worthington; two children, Ada Luna Quitanilla, Worthington; and Allison Rivera, Worthington; mother, Rosenda Quintanilla, Denison, IA; and three brothers, Alex Amaya, California; Pedro Amaya, Denison, IA; and Jose Amaya Jr., Denison, IA. She was preceded in death by her father. Visitation was Wednesday, from 5 pm to 1am at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington; and from 10 am to 3 pm Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church, in Worthington, officiated by Fr. Jim Callahan & Fr. Jose Burial will be at a later date in Comelapa, El Savadore. Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington, is in charge of arrangements. |
