MARIENNE EGRYN MAUCH, age 84, of Adrian, became an Angel on Monday, December 26, 2011, at the Sanford Hospice Cottage in Luverne. She was born August 29, 1927, in Mound Township, rural Rock County, to Chris and Marie (Dibbern) Kopp. Marienne attended District #12 country school in rural Rock County and graduated from Luverne High School in 1945. She later attended Minneapolis Business College in Minneapolis.
   Marienne married Elmer Mauch on April 6, 1948, at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Luverne. After their marriage, the couple farmed southwest of Adrian. Elmer died on September 10, 1992. Marienne moved to the Adrian Country Living in March of 2004.
   She was a member of St. Adrian Catholic Church in Adrian; the Catholic Daughters of America; the WCCW where she held various offices; the pioneer parents of Nobles County Association of Retarded Citizens; the Adrian Senior Citizens; the Pink Ladies; the VFW Ladies Auxiliary; and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, card club and wintering in the Mesa, AZ area.
   Marienne is survived by her seven children, Jim Mauch, Adrian; Ronald “Joe” (Marcie) Mauch, Adrian; Marie (Steven) Erickson, Eden Prairie; John Mauch (Ruth Hinrichs), Adrian; Pat Mauch (Norris Thorson), Plymouth; Susie (John) Huckenpoehler, Watkins; and Steve Mauch (Denise Inman), Minneapolis; five grandchildren, Scott Mauch, Christina (Ryan) Michelson, Stephanie Erickson, Michael (Andrea) Erickson, and Kiersha (Jacob) Henricksen; and a sister, Lois Thomas, Fargo, ND.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; and an infant son, Donald, in 1950.
  Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Adrian, with parish prayers at 4:30 pm. Visitation also from 9:30 to 10:15 Friday morning at the funeral home. Funeral will be 10:30 am Friday at St. Adrian Catholic Church, in Adrian, officiated by Fr. Timothy Hall. Burial will be in the St. Adrian Cemetery.
   In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donors choice.
