Aunt Ruth, my cousins, and my mom,
I'm thanking God that He gives us our memories. I have alot of them of my Uncle Albyn. His musical talents, his painting and drawing talents, his gardening talents, and I even remember getting yelled at a few times...well deserved, I'm sure...right Carol? And I used to love it when mom would tell us stories about their growing up years...I was always kinda envious!
I will be thinking of you all this weekend, and sending lots of love your way.
Wow. What a man my Uncle Albyn was.

I would like to give the Albyn Welch family my deepest sympathy for
thier loss. I worked with Albyn for many years at Nobles County
Highway Dept. and he was one of the good guys. I would run into
Albyn every once in a while after his retirement and we would have a
nice visit. After I moved to the cities I hadn''t seen Albyn for a couple
years, but just this last year just before christmas I ran into him at
the Worthington K-Mart and we had a nice visit. I asked him how he
was doing and he said fine, so it was really a surprise to see of his passing , so if you have a chance let me know what happened.

My mom told me the sad news. I always liked Mr. Welch and his entire family. Real nice folks who always made me feel welcome. Albyn was so talented. I was thrilled when he gave me one of his carved Santas. Albyn exemplified the "greatest generation." He will be greatly missed by many. Condolences to Ruth and family.
