DAVID ESLEY ROBINSON, age 78, of Round Lake, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012, after struggling with many illnesses. He was born in Worthington on January 31, 1934, to Earl and Gladys (Bryngelson) Robinson. He graduated from Worthington High School in 1952.
   David married Donna Ferguson on June 16, 1956, at the United Methodist Church in Worthington. After their marriage, the couple farmed in the Nobles County area including, Rushmore & Brewster. In 1961, they moved to the current farm near Round Lake. Along with farming, David worked testing cows at the Nobles & Jackson County DHIA, Southwest Sales Pavilion, Armours, Sathers, Runnings, Plaza 66 and Guidepoint Pharmacy.
   He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Round Lake, where he had served as Trustee & Elder. He was also a member of the Sioux Valley Creamery Board. David enjoyed farming, playing cards, square dancing, roller skating, visiting and spending time with his grandchildren.
   David is survived by his wife, Donna Robinson, Round Lake; three sons and their spouses, Randy & Julie Robinson, Worthington; Wayne & Ann Robinson, Luverne; and Neil & Anna Robinson, Worthington; nine grandchildren, Reggie, Angela, Kelby, Emily, Mark, Ainslie, Elijah, Coyer & Kolton Robinson; brother, Richard (Corky) Robinson; sister-in-law, Aldyne Robinson, Worthington; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Horstman, Farmington; and Myril (Mary) Ferguson, Worthington; and many nieces & nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant sons, Lynn & Mark Robinson; sister, Judy Horstman; and a brother, Merlin Robinson.
   Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 PM Tuesday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. Funeral will be 10:30 am Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church, in Round Lake, officiated by Rev. Robert Bartlett. Burial will be after the funeral dinner at the Worthington Garden of Memories Cemetery.

My prayers are with you Donna and your family during this trying time! Just remember the Lord is with you and Dave is now with our Lord and Savior! I remember all the good times we had with couples club and youth group! Dave was always so much fun and could always make me laugh! If you need anything please let me know! All my love! Heidi

Ric and I are so glad that we did make those three trips in the last few years with Dad and Edith---times that we got to see all of your family, even got to attend yours and David's anniversary. Lots of good times and warm memories. May God hold all of you close in the days ahead.
