SOUANE THONGVANH, age 49, of Worthington, died Monday, July 16, 2012, at his home. He was born on February 7, 1963 in Laos to parents, Xoung and Lone (Lo) Thongvanh. He attended school in Laos and moved to Thailand for six months and came to the United States in 1980. He lived in Louisiana, Iowa and moved to Worthington in 1986. Souane married Ora Sithad and was was employed with JBS since 1986.
He is survived by his wife, Ora Sithad, Worthington; two children, Tommy Sithad, Worthington; Tracy Thongvanh, Worthington; mother, Lone Thongvanh, Worthington; two sisters, Manivanh VanLo, Worthington; Ny Sakakhanne, Des Moines, IA; and brothers, Noel Thongvanh, Mountain Lake; and Khing Thongvanh, Worthington.
Souane was preceded in death by his father, Xoung.
