GARY LEROY KRAMER, age 78, of Worthington, died Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the Sanford Worthington Medical Center. He was born May 24, 1945, in Adrian, to James and Gwendolyn (Faragher) Kramer. Gary moved with his family to Holland, MN, for ten years, where attended elementary school in Holland and Pipestone. He later moved back to Worthington where he graduated high school.
Gary farmed with his brother north of Worthington. He also worked at Armour’s in Worthington. He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Worthington. He was an active member of 4-H and the FFA. Gary loved showing his Angus cattle. He showed livestock at many regional & national shows including The Stock Show in Denver, The American Royal in Kansas City and The International in Chicago. He also earned his black belt in Taekwondo.
Gary is survived by his mother, Gwendolyn Kramer, Worthington; daughter, Kimberly Kay Fox, Sioux Falls, SD; two grandsons, Gregory (Khrystyna) Lupkes, Round Lake; and Joseph Fox, Sioux Falls, SD; sister, Diane (Joe) Bartlett, Worthington; two brothers, Jim Kramer, Worthington; and Rich (Leslie) Kramer, Bartlesville, OK; and many nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Patricia Tausinga.
Visitation will be from 2-4 pm Sunday, April 28 at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington; and also one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Funeral will be 10:30 am Monday at the Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington, officiated by Pastor Galen Smith. Burial will be in the Sunset Rest Cemetery in Rushmore.
