Brian, like his grandfather Alfred Pedersen, enjoyed spending his free time searching for Native American artifacts in the surrounding area creating an extensive collection. His passion for history brought him all over and connected Brian with many lifelong friends. After the addition of his granddaughter, Alice Lorraine, Brian dedicated most of his time to bonding with her. He enjoyed teaching her countless things including children’s songs, tricks & games. Her favorite activity she did with her grandfather was dancing with him to his favorite music.

Prior to his time with the Daily Globe, Brian assisted in the creation of the Prairie View Golf Course, serving as a greens keeper. He later held the same position at the Worthington Country Club. Brian started his career with the Daily Globe in 1989 where he stayed until retiring due to health reasons, in 2015. Brian had an amazing talent for photography winning numerous State and National Awards. Brian had a kind heart and friendly nature that only enhanced the art he created. His stunning nature scenes and local portraits are treasured in many homes throughout the community.
