Donna Miller Obituary

   DONNA M. MILLER, age 70, of Round Lake, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the Sanford Worthington Regional Hospital. She was born November 21, 1947, in Adrian, to August and Anne (Weidert) Kometscher. She graduated from St. Adrian Catholic High School.

   Donna married Glenn Miller on August 14, 1971, at St. Adrian Church. The couple lived in Adrian where Donna worked at Schei’s Café, Safeway Egg Plant and the Arnold Memorial Nursing Home. The family moved to Ocheyedan, IA in 1987. In 1989, they moved to Round Lake. Donna also worked at Campbell’s Soup, CCSI, New Dawn, the DAC and the Worthington VFW in Worthington; and Sather’s and the Round Lake Pit Stop. She retired in 2013.

 She was a member of the Round Lake American Legion Auxiliary. Donna enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, Bingo, crafts and especially her grandchildren. She was very proud of quitting smoking last year after fifty five years of smoking.

   Donna is survived by her husband, Glenn Miller, Round Lake; three children, Nicol (Tony) Pete, Round Lake; Courtney (LeAnn) Miller, Rushmore; and Shaun (Michelle) Miller, Worthington; five grandchildren, Theron, Mackenzie, Madisyn, Jolsie and Kamryn Miller; sister-in-law, Karen (Ronnie) Lawrence, Adrian; and a nephew, Wade Lawrence.

   She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

   A time of fellowship will be from 1-3 pm Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington. A memorial service will be 3 pm Saturday at the Dingmann Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Robert Bartlett. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.
