Joyce Marie (Riemersma) Lemke

   JOYCE MARIE LEMKE, age 61, of Worthington, died Monday, July 23, 2018, at the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born December 26, 1956, in Worthington, to Gerald and Cleone (Otto) Riemersma. She attended Worthington High School.

Joyce lived in Worthington most of her life. She worked at the Worthington Regional Hospital, which later became the Sanford Worthington Medical Center, for almost forty years. She enjoyed collecting cook books, going to the races, going to Goodwill but especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by her two children, Larry (Robin) Ober, Rushmore; and Tanya (Dan) Wagner, Worthington; five grandchildren, Tyler, Cody and Jasmine Ober; Alan Olhausen III and Aaden Wagner; a great-grandchild, Tinleigh Ober; eight siblings, JoAnn (Daniel) Kruse, Worthington; Gerry (Margie) Riemersma, Worthington; Debra Harvey, Apple Valley; Barbara (Jeff) DeGroot, Worthington; Betty Riemersma, Brighten, TN; Terry (Jane) Riemersma, Hammond; Susan (Dave) Zick, Prior Lake; and Brent Riemersma, Worthington; and many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Larry Riemersma; and a nephew, Alex Garza.

   A time of fellowship will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 5-8 pm at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington; and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Memorial Service will be 11 am Thursday, August 2, 2018, at the First Lutheran Church, in Worthington, officiated by Pastor Jeanette McCormick. Burial of cremains will be in the Worthington Cemetery.
