JUDITH ANN REESE, age 76, of Worthington, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at the Sanford USD Medical Center, in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born December 22, 1941, in Luverne, to Vernon and Gladys (McClure) Stroh. She attended school in Beaver Creek.
Judy married Daryl Reese on September 29, 1959 in Luverne, MN. They made their home in Luverne until moving to Worthington in 1961. Judy was employed with Campbell Soup Company and County Market, in Worthington, and Sperry Univac (later became TSE) in Jackson. She and her husband also hauled milk for NFO.
She was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Worthington. She enjoyed crafts, the outdoors, especially camping and most of all her family.
Judy is survived by her four children, Daniel (Robyn) Reese, Worthington, MN; Kim (Jerry) Dalin, Bigelow, MN; Jodie (Eric) Janning, Austin, MN; and Stacie (friend, Ty Davis) Zeidi, Worthington, MN; thirteen grandchildren, Adam and Cody (Amanda) Reese, Rachel (Korey) Stinehart, Shelly (Lance) Beckmann, Brandi (Chad) Kleve, Ashley Stewart, Breanna Britt, Clayton and Darbee Novak, Ethan and Emmett Janning, Milad, Nasim and Aisha Zeidi; fourteen great-grandchildren, Alizae, Kegan, Sawyer, Laikyn, Lexi, Parker, Emma, Madison, Brooklyn, Keeten, Reese, Clinton, Dallas, Jr. and Levi; a brother, Jim (Pat) Stroh, Luverne; a sister, Carol (Dean) Brouwer, Lennox, SD; a sister-in-law, Sue Stroh, Luverne; and many nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daryl on May 7, 2016; son-in-law, Muftah Zeidi, a brother, Alan Stroh; and an infant sister.
Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington, with parish prayers at 7 pm. Visitation also one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Funeral Mass will be 2 pm Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, in Worthington, officiated by Fr. James Calahan and Deacon Vern Behrends. Burial will be in the Worthington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
