MARGARET PHYLLIS BROWEN, age 77, of Worthington, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at the Sanford Worthington Hospice Cottage. She was born April 19, 1942, in Worthington, to Ralph and Geraldine (Gordon) Kilker. She graduated from Worthington High School; and later from Worthington Community College.
Margaret married Dale Browen on November 4, 1967, in Worthington. After their marriage, the couple lived in Worthington. Margaret work at Campbell’s Soup Company, in Worthington, for over twenty nine years. She also worked at County Market.
She was a member of the American Lutheran Church in Worthington and she delivered Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed gardening, attending concerts; and especially her dogs.
Margaret is survived by her two sons, Derek (Patricia) Browen, Plymouth; and Gary Browen, Worthington; two grandchildren, Anthany Browen, Worthington; and Kayla Browen, Worthington; and a sister, Carol Paplow, Windom.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale in 1996; and a sister, Mary Nau.
A memorial service will be Friday at 2 pm at the Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington, officiated by Pastor Sandy Carpenter. A time of fellowship will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home of Friday. A private family committal of cremains will take place at a later date
