Meghan Nicole Westendorf, age 26, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, in Minneapolis, after a courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis. She was born October 1, 1991, in Willmar, to Ty and Pam (Morris) Westendorf. She graduated from Worthington High School in 2010; and later from Minnesota West College in Worthington.
Meghan moved to Bigelow where she had worked at the Post Office. She presently was working for the Hokeness Farms in Adrian. Meghan loved hunting, fishing, golfing, crafts, riding the motorcycle and animals, especially her three dogs. She began hunting and fishing at a young age and later began golfing in Middle School. She continued to golf on through college and made it to Nationals in Florida. She loved riding her Harley motorcycle and doing crafts; which, she made for many people. Her three dogs (Harley, Karma, Hopkins) were her children. She had a strong love for family. Family meant everything to her and she went out of her way to take care of those she loved.
Meghan is survived by her parents, Ty & Pam Westendorf, Worthington; sister, Brittany (Josh) Olson, Worthington; Rich Ackerman, Bigelow; grandparents; uncles; aunts; and cousins.
A private family memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Dakota.
