Robert Lynn Brommer

   ROBERT LYNN BROMMER, age 65, of Ellsworth, died Thursday at his home. He was born May 27, 1952, in Rock Rapids, IA, to Ben and Cora (Breeman) Brommer. He graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1970.

   Bob served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked in the construction business and traveled the states when he was employed by Living Design. Bob spent many happy hours on hunting trips with his brothers. He enjoyed playing cards. Some of Bob’s proudest moments were during the years he watched Blake play basketball.

   Bob is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Jesse) Leegaard, Gillette, WY; son, Blake Brommer, Wagoner, OK; two grandchildren, Taylor Schumaker and Shelbi Leegaard; three sisters, Donna (Allen) Wessels, Ellsworth; Carol (Larry) Duwenhoegger, Adrian; and Lisa Brommer, Colorado Springs, CO; two brothers, John Brommer, Windom; and Greg (Marilyn) Brommer, Rock Rapids, IA; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Brommer, St. Paul; and many nieces & nephews.

   He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Marjorie; a brother, Bernard Brommer; and a sister-in-law, Carol Brommer.

   A private family service will take place at a later date.

   Dingmann Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Adrian, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
