AGNES ANN BECKMANN, age 64, of rural Wilmont, died Thursday, June 14, 2007, as a result of an automobile accident in Wilmont. She was born October 31, 1942, in Adrian, to Floyd and Alma (Wieneke) Madison. She graduated from St. Adrian Catholic High School, in Adrian. Agnes married Harold John Beckmann on June 30, 1962, at St. Adrian Catholic Church, in Adrian. After their marriage, the couple farmed five miles north of Wilmont. She was a member of Our Lady Good Counsel Catholic Church, in Wilmont; and the WCCW. Agnes enjoyed raising her calves, cooking, needlework, sewing, gardening and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her five children and their spouses, Doug Beckmann, rural Wilmont; Daniel Beckmann, rural Wilmont; David & Jodi Beckmann, Slayton; Darla & Gene Blom, Yankton, SD; and Deb & Todd Thraen, Iona; seven grandchildren, Morgan, Brooke, Mariah, Montana, Ryley, Maverick & Evan; five brothers, Edward (Vickie) Madison, Madison, SD; Morris Madison, Denver, CO; Leroy (Alverna) Madison, Wilmont; Gary (Karen) Madison, Adrian; Earl (Marilyn) Madison, Adrian; and five sisters, Joan (Jim) Taylor, Ellsworth; Joyce (Phil) Faragher, Worthington; Rita (Dick) Becker, Henderson, NV; Dianne (Joe) Beckmann, Wilmont; and Margaret (Jerry) Pick, Luverne. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Janet Madison, in 1941. Blessed Be Her Memory.
