ALBERT W. MULDER, age 96, of Ellsworth, died Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Sanford Luverne Medical Center. He was born October 31, 1921, in Sheldon, IA, to William and Marie (Ruysbrock) Mulder. He graduated from St. Mary Catholic High School.

Albert helped his parents on the family farm southeast of Ellsworth. After retiring from farming, he enjoyed tending to his large garden. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellsworth; and the St. Mary Knights of Columbus. Albert enjoyed delivering Meals On Wheels and distributing Communion in the nursing home. He was in charge of St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, in Ellsworth, for many years.

Albert is survived by his cousins, Toni Lohman, Colorado Springs, CO; and Nancy Van Anne, Greeley, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lucy Mulder; and a special cousin, A.W. Linssen.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, in Ellsworth, officiated by Fr. Thomas Jennings. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery in Ellsworth.
