ALBERTA BANCK, age 89, of Adrian, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at the Arnold Memorial Nursing Home, in Adrian. She was born June 26, 1916, in Ellsworth, to Charles and Elizabeth (Wagner) Lenz. She attended St. Mary Catholic School in Ellsworth. Alberta married Frank Banck on January 11, 1938, at St. Mary Catholic Church, in Ellsworth. After their marriage, the couple farmed in the rural Adrian area. After Frank?s death in 1971, Alberta moved into Adrian. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Adrian Catholic Church; the WCCW; and a volunteer at the Arnold Memorial Nursing Home, in Adrian. She enjoyed playing the piano & organ and playing cards. Alberta is survived by her four daughters and sons-in-law, Maggie Howell, Lakewood, CO; Mary & Henry Schutz, LaCrosse, WI; Jo & Ron Heidebrink, Slayton; and Lory & Roger Harsh, Arvada, CO; ten grandchildren, Sue (Tim) Van Dyke, Angie (John) Marriott, Henry Schutz, Kristin (Dale) Krogman, Mark (Staci) Heidebrink, Shari (Brett) Muecke, Steve Heidebrink, Jon Heidebrink, Karen Harsh, and Kevin (Heather) Harsh; nine great grandchildren; brother, John (Mary) Lenz, East Stroudsbury, PN; and two sisters, Marcella Mauch, Adrian; and Mary Jo (Aurel) Galipeau, Lakewood, CA.
