ALFRED "PAT" WILLIAM SEIFERT, age 92, of Worthington, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at South Shore Care Center in Worthington. He was born July 8, 1919, in Roseau, to Alfred Sr. and Anna (Dampley) Seifert. As an infant, Pat moved with his family to Worthington. He graduated from Worthington High School in 1938. He served his country during WWII in the United States Air Force.
Pat married Arvalyne Didier on December 11, 1942, in San Bernardino, CA. After their marriage, the couple lived in Worthington where they owned & operated a construction business before retiring in 1985.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Worthington. Pat enjoyed golfing, roller skating, fishing, bowling, playing cards, dancing, and weekly trips to the casino. He also enjoyed watching & playing many different sports especially hockey.
Pat is survived by his special friend, Del Burns, Worthington; three nephews; and five nieces.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Arvalyne, in 1987; and four sisters.
