ALVINA "VINA" CATHERINE HEBIG, age 101, longtime resident of Lismore, died Sunday, August 2, 2015 at her residence in Plymouth MN. She was born July 12, 1914, in Adrian, to Peter and Catherine Bach. She graduated from Adrian High School.
Vina married Ray Hebig on May 7, 1935.
She was an active participant in church and community activities. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Christian Mothers, Senior Citizens and was a 50 year member of the Lismore Sewing Club. She also served on the board of the State Bank of Lismore.
She had many interests and hobbies including sewing, crafts, gardening and cards.
Vina is survived by children Terry, Elayne (Wes) Gunnare of Plymouth MN, Tom (Margie) of New Hope MN and Gail Kinsey (Terry Campbell) of Rochester MN. Vina enjoyed her 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Ray in 1987; two brothers, Francis and Everett, one sister, Delores.
Funeral Mass will be 11 am Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, in Lismore, officiated by Fr. Andrew Beerman. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will be at the St. Anthony Cemetery in Lismore.
