ANDREW TOFTELAND, age 30, of Minneapolis, formerly of Beaver Creek, died Friday, June 15, 2012 at his home in Minneapolis. He was born December 14, 1981, in Slayton, to Marvin and Grace (Gebhart) Tofteland. He graduated Hills Beaver Creek High School in 2000 where he played Football, Basketball, Track and was a member of FFA. In 2005 he graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture and Food Business Management.
Andy worked for Wells Fargo Bank in Minneapolis as a financial advisor in the retirement department.
He enjoyed kayaking, biking, watching sports, especially the Minnesota Gophers. As a child he was involved in the Cub Scouts and enjoyed collecting baseball, football and basketball cards. He always enjoyed his visits home with his family and especially his nieces and nephews.
Andy is survived by his parents, Marvin and Grace Tofteland, Beaver Creek; brother, David (Jamie) Tofteland, Beaver Creek; sister, Katie (Derick) Wolf, Edmond, OK; maternal grandfather, Leo Gebhart, Brookings, SD; nieces and nephews, Brayden, Carsen, Jace, Ahna Tofteland, Gavin, Landon, Clara Wolf; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandmother.
