ANNALENE DELLA VAN IPEREN, age 83, of Worthington, died Sunday, May 31, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Society in Pipestone. She was born April 7, 1937 in Sibley, IA, to Peter and Ollie (Starkenburg) Van Iperen. Annalene grew up in Sibley, and attended the Sibley Christian School until the eighth grade.

Annalene worked as a Nurses Aid and was employed at Verdoorn Nursing Home, in Ashton, IA, for sixteen years before working at the Country View Manor Nursing Home, in Sibley, for thirty years. She lived in Sibley for sixty two years, and then moved to Worthington and retired in 2000.

She was a former member of the Sibley Christian Reformed Church and later the Worthington Christian Reformed Church, where she was active in Bible Studies. Annalene enjoyed embroidery and scrapbooking. Her cat Mollie kept her company for many years.

Annalene is survived by her sister, LaVonne (David) Vander Grift, Sibley, IA; sister-in-law, Stephena Van Iperen, Lake Wilson; brother-in-law, Dennis Vanden Berg, Apple Valley; and sixteen nieces & nephews, Lucinda Vogel, Jerry, Steven, Orville and Donald Van Iperen, Lisa Carlson, Stan Jr. and Justin Van Iperen, Denise Kuc, Douglas, Danae and Dan Vanden Berg, Dawn Agre, Lonna Davis, Shanna and David Jonathan Vander Grift.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dione Vanden Berg; a brother, Stanley Van Iperen; and a niece, Lynette Engbarth.

Funeral service will be 2 pm Thursday at the Worthington Christian Reformed Church officiated by Pastor Chad Werkhoven & Pastor LeRoy Christoffels. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Holman Township Cemetery in Sibley, IA.
