ARDATH SCHMIDT, age 91, of Luverne, died Monday, September 4, 2023, at the Mary Jane Brown Good Samaritan Home in Luverne. She was born July 24, 1932, in Jasper, MN to Howard and Eloise (Drew) Wohlford.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Luverne. She enjoyed knitting and sewing. She also loved traveling and adventure.

Ardath is survived by her children, Terry Schmidt, Douglas Schmidt, Ellie Drew and Harvey Schmidt; grandchildren, Neil and Lacy Schmidt; Jerri, Duane, Chelsey, and Arielle Schmidt; Kai and Koll Christenson; Cameron, Cody, Lysje, MacKinzee, Rebekah, and Jessica Schmidt; and many great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Harold Wohlford and Elizabeth Young.

A private family service will take place at a later date.
