ARLENE VERONICA PENNING, age 66, of Mankato, formerly of Wilmont, died Friday, October 26, 2007, at the Immanuel-St. Joseph Hospital, in Mankato. She was born on March 2, 1941, in Graceville, to Michael and Martha (Brink) Penning. Arlene attended school in Dumont & Wilmont. She graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School in Wilmont. Arlene moved to Mankato where she worked at Midtex. She was currently working at Precision Press in North Mankato. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Mankato. Arlene enjoyed traveling, crafts & visiting with friends & family. Arlene is survived by her mother, Martha Penning, Wilmont; three siblings, Arnold (Linda) Penning, Morgan; Carol Penning, Mankato; and Jim (Colleen) Penning, Apple Valley; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Donald & Ambrose Penning; sister, Alice Penning; niece, June Penning; and a great nephew, Mason Penning.
