Audrey Jean Braun , age 65, died Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD after a short battle with Cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer). She was born July 29, 1956, in Adrian, to Walter and Jean (Kallemeyn) Bolluyt.

Audrey grew up and attended school in Edgerton, MN. She met her husband of 43 years, Duane Braun, while working at Fey Industries in Edgerton. The couple were married on June 7th, 1974 and lived in Edgerton before starting their family in Worthington. Audrey enjoyed puzzles, card games, shopping for purses and gadgets, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also had a passion for her job at McDonalds, where she worked for 29 years and was known by most of the community and always seemed to brighten people's day all the way up to December 30, 2021.

Audrey is Survived by her two children, Melissa Braun, Austin, MN; and Matt (Becki) Braun, Sioux Falls; mother, Jean (special friend, Paul Nath), Luverne; sister Linda (special friend, Gordy Kienast)  Buss, Luverne; five grandchildren, Faith Marie Rautenkranz, William Lee Rautenkranz, Connor Joseph Duane Braun, Elizabeth Jean Braun, and Everleigh Hope Braun.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Braun on October 20, 2017; father, Walter Bolluyt on October 6, 2012; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and Adolph Braun.

A time of fellowship will be from 1-4 pm Saturday, January 29, at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Worthington.
