Barbara Eggestein, age 92, of Jackson, died Monday, April 6, 2026, at the Sanford Worthington Medical Center.
Barbara was born March 2, 1934 to Robert and Gertrude Midgett in Wilmington, NC. Barbara had one sister Peggy and two brothers: Robert, Alton Midgett. Barbara Married Harold Eggestein in Sioux Falls, SD on August 6th 1962. Together they had six sons: Bob, Mike, Junior, Jerry, Ryan, and Kenny. All together they had 10 grandkids, and 4 great grandkids.
A graveside service will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 9 at the Riverside Cemetery in Jackson.
Dingmann Funeral Home, in Worthington, is assisting the family with arrangements.
