BETTY BAUM, age 87, of Worthington, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at the Sanford Regional Hospital in Worthington. She was born August 11, 1922, in , to Raymond and Venda (Roos) Eckerson. Betty married Albert Baum on . After their marriage, the couple moved to California. She was a member of the Solid Rock Assembly of God Church in Worthington. Betty is survived by her five children, Beverly Osborne, TN; Susan (Charles) Baldwin, Clovis, CA; Joy Berger, Worthington; Kim (John) Gallo, Clovis, CA; and Gary Baum, Clovis, CA; eight grandchildren; great grandchildren; three brothers, Dale (Gertrude) Eckerson, Worthington; Russell (Niomi) Eckerson, Cold Spring; and Sidney (Judy) Eckerson, Worthington; and a sister, Beverly (James) Hutt, Sioux Falls, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert, in 1973; two brothers, Stanley & Merle Eckerson; and two sisters, Rosie Novak & June Miller. Memorial service will be 1 PM Monday at the Solid Rock Assembly of God Church, in Worthington, officiated by Rev. Scott Peterson.
