BETTY LEWIS, age 77, of Adrian, died Sunday, April 16, 2006, at the Sioux Valley Hospital, in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born March 29, 1929, in Adrian, to Leo and Mae (Higgins) Lester. She graduated from Adrian High School. Betty married Charles ?Pat? Lewis on June 3, 1948, in Adrian. After their marriage, the couple lived in Adrian. Betty worked in the office at the Arnold Memorial Nursing Home, in Adrian, before retiring. She was a member of St. Adrian Catholic Church; the WCCW; and she volunteered at the Arnold Memorial Nursing Home. She enjoyed golfing. Betty is survived by her five sons and daughters-in-law, Randy & Nancy Lewis, Winona; Rick Lewis, Apple Valley; Tim & Renee Lewis, Egan; Mark & Julie Lewis, Clinton, CT; and Dan Lewis, Worthington; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Meaghan, Emily, David, Andrew, Stephanie & Adam Lewis; two step grandchildren, Cory & Jake; brother, William (Marion) Lester, Omaha, NE; and a sister, Carol (Ken) Lassiter, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pat, in 1990; and an infant sister. Blessed Be Her Memory.
