BRENDA S. POSTMA, age 52, of Worthington, died, Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at her home. She was born on January 29, 1961 in Worthington to parents Marvin F. and Rosemarie (Berry) Beerman. She attended school in Brewster graduating from Brewster High School in 1979. After graduation she attended Nettleton College in Sioux Falls and then Worthington Community College. Brenda worked as an LPN in Sheldon, IA.
Brenda was united in marriage to Marc Postma on December 20, 1983 at the Church of Christ Church in Worthington. They made their home in Lorain Township for many years. She was a homemaker and in recent years she was a special needs Para for the Round Lake High School.
She was a member of the Indian Lake Baptist Church. Brenda enjoyed music, church activities, scrapbooking, crocheting, gardening, baking, photography and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed the fall season and taking fall trips to southeast, central and northern Minnesota and Wisconsin. Brenda enjoyed her family especially for the Christmas season and playing the piano with her children.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Marc Postma, children, Benjamin, Caleb, Heather, Michaela and Amanda Postma all of Worthington; brothers and sisters, Judy (Darwin) Stahl, Hawley, MN; Daniel (Linda) Beerman, Iona, MN; David (Debbie) Beerman, Nevada, MO; Bruce Beerman, Brewster, MN; Carolyn Beerman, Brewster, MN; Norma (Robert) Dittman, Dundee, MN; Sally Beerman, Worthington, MN; and Brian (Jeanette) Beerman, Lebanon, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents,.
Visitation will be Monday from 10 to 11:30 AM at Indian Lake Baptist Church in rural Worthington. The Funeral Service will be Monday at 11:30 AM at Indian Lake Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan  Larson officiating. Burial will be at the Hersey Cemetery in Brewster, MN.
