BRENT MICHAEL BRADLEY, age 30, of Luverne, died Saturday, September 3, 2016, at the Sanford USD Medical Center, in Sioux Falls, SD, after a long battle with addiction. He was born January 16, 1986, in Gadsden, AL, to Barbara Briggs. He attended school in Luverne where he wrestled and played baseball.

Brent married Brooke DeSollar on March 19, 2005, in Luverne. After their marriage, the couple lived in Luverne. They later divorced. Brent had worked at Swift Company in Worthington and for Dewey VanEngelhoven Construction before working at McDonalds in Luverne.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Luverne. Brent loved all kinds of sports. He enjoyed gardening & fishing.

Brent is survived by his mother, Barb Briggs, Luverne; two children, Zachary & Zakada Bradley, Jasper; two step children, Dalton & Kaden DeSollar, Jasper; grandmother, Wanda Briggs, Luverne; and two close family friends, Trista & Jessy Behr, Luverne.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alfred Briggs; sister, Penny; aunt, Karen Dammann; and uncle, Richard Briggs.

Memorial service will be 5:30 pm Thursday at the First Baptist Church, in Luverne, officiated by Richard Opsata. A time of fellowship will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. A private family committal of cremains will take place at a later date.

Brent's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
