CARL ERNEST NELSON, age 51, of Adrian, died Sunday, March 23, 2014, at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. He was born June 15, 1962, in Minneapolis, to Harry and Karen (Robinson) Nelson. He attended school in Minneapolis.
Carl met his longtime companion, Teresa Davis, over twenty years ago in Minneapolis. The couple lived in Okeechobee, FL from 2002 to 2009. In July of 2009, they moved to Adrian. Carl married Teresa, on June 15, 2013, in Worthington. The couple continued to live in Adrian.
He worked as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and spending time with family & friends.
Carl is survived by his wife, Teresa Nelson, Adrian; two step children, Gregory (fiancée, Olivia) Davis, Minneapolis; and Miles Davis, Adrian; two brothers, Dale Nelson, Chaska; and John Nelson, Luverne; sister, Ramona Nelson, Adrian; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother Shane Nelson, in 2007.
A time of fellowship will be from 12 noon to 1pm on Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Adrian. A memorial service will be 1pm Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Adrian officiated by Fr. Andrew Beerman. A private committal of cremains will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred.
