CARL DONALD WIENEKE, age 57, of Lismore, died Thursday, December 16, 2010, at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. He was born October 28, 1953, in Adrian, to Edmund and Rose (Dollander) Wieneke. He graduated from Adrian High School in 1971. After graduating he began farming. Carl married Roberta Kemper on August 11, 1973, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lismore. After their marriage, the couple began farming southwest of Lismore. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lismore; the Adrian Country Club; and a former member of the Adrian Co-op Elevator Board. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, tinkering, putzing around the farm and especially his grandchildren. Carl is survived by his wife, Roberta Wieneke, Lismore; three children, Carey (friend, Brent Rossow) Simons, Jackson; Matt (Kathy) Wieneke, rural Rushmore; and Bobbi (Wally) Habben, Lismore; five grandchildren, Brianna, Brigan, Tucker, Samantha & Taylor; Smokey; six brothers, Jerome (Carol) Wieneke, Luverne; Elmer (Judy) Wieneke, Lismore; Jake (Theresa) Wieneke, Lismore; Herman (Eileen) Wieneke, Ellsworth; Ray (Shirley) Wieneke, Lismore; and Frank (Deb) Wieneke, Adrian; and two sisters, Arlene (Ron) Steen, Englewood, CO; and Lois Schmidtke, Trimont. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold Wieneke; and a brother-in-law, Larry Schmidtke.
