IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carol Mary
(Sieve) Rupp
September 22, 1942 – May 20, 2024
Carol Mary Rupp, age 81, of Adrian, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Born on September 22, 1942, in Adrian, she was the cherished daughter of Al and Iva (Arens) Sieve.
Carol's journey began at Our Lady of Good Counsel (OLGC) School in Wilmont, MN, where she laid the foundation for a life of love, faith, and service. On May 3, 1969, she united in marriage with her beloved, Bill Rupp, at OLGC Catholic Church in Wilmont. Together, they made their home in Adrian, devoting themselves to nurturing their family and owning/operating Rupp Trucking with pride.
Faith was the cornerstone of Carol's life, evident in her devoted service to St. Adrian Catholic Church. She served as a Eucharistic Minister, lector, religious education teacher, rectory housekeeper, and member of the Catholic Daughters of America, embodying values of service and charity.
Beyond her faith and family, Carol found joy in simple pleasures. Her talent for baking and sewing brought delight to her loved ones. She treasured moments spent with family and friends, especially her Soul Friends group, finding immense happiness in their company.
Carol is survived by six adoring children, Tammy Loosbrock of Adrian; Tracy (Evan Charney) Rupp of Durham, NC; Troy (Becky Westrom) Rupp of Ashby; Tim (Melanie) Rupp of Friendswood, TX; Tom (Lori) Rupp of Burnsville; and Travis (Mandi) Rupp of St. Paul. She leaves behind eleven grandchildren, Brittany, Nick, Alex (Becca) and Zack Loosbrock; Mary, Julia, Jocelyn, Chet, Hank, William and Sophia Rupp; and her siblings, JoAnn Johanning, Barb (Tom) Estrem and Gary (Joyce) Sieve.
A visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Thursday, May 23, and from 9:30 am to 10:15 am on Friday, May 24, at St. Adrian Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 am on Friday, officiated by Monsignor Richard Colletti. Carol will be laid to rest in the Adrian Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Adrian Catholic Church. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved Bill and her parents Al and Iva in the embrace of God's eternal love.
