CAROLINE GRACE HENDERSCHIEDT, age 92, of Worthington, died Saturday, July 22, 2006 at South Shore Care Center in Worthington. She was born June 11, 1914 in Spencer, South Dakota to parents Edward and Annie (Schiebe) Ditter. She was baptized as a child in the Catholic Faith at Farmer, SD. She attended school at St. Peter?s Catholic School and graduated from Edgerton Consolidated School in 1931. Caroline was united in marriage to Roy Henderschiedt on June 11, 1932, in Sioux Falls, SD. They made their home in South Dakota, Iowa and moved to Wilmont in 1936. They then moved to Reading and started the Henderschiedt Truck Line in 1949. They moved to Worthington in 1955. Her husband passed away on April 28, 1959. She continued the business with sons, Roger and Bud until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Guild 10, Project Group, 50 year member of ?Hit and Miss? Club, Hospital Auxiliary and a member of Nobles County Historical Society and the Plymouth, MN Historical Society. Caroline is survived by her children, JoAnn Henderschiedt, Denver, CO; Roger Henderschiedt, R.L. ?Bud? (Patricia) Henderschiedt and Allen (Theresa) Henderschiedt all of Worthington; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy, one brother and four sisters. Blessed Be Her Memory.
