CATHERINE ELEANOR (BULLERMAN) BAUER, age 92, of Adrian, died Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at her home. She was born July 27, 1932, in Russell, to Elmer and Eleanor (Smith) Spartz. Catherine married Vernon Bullerman on November 17, 1949, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Wilmont. The couple farmed northeast of Adrian. In 1961, they began farming south of Adrian before retiring and moving into Adrian in 1999. Vernon died on September 2, 1999. Catherine married Robert Bauer on May 4, 2003, at St. Adrian Church in Adrian. The couple lived in Adrian. Robert died on March 15, 2023. She was a former member of St. Adrian Catholic Church in Adrian; and was a current member of Solid Rock Assembly in Worthington; and the Worthington Turkey Trotters. She enjoyed playing pinochle and square dancing. Catherine is survived by her six children, Mary (Glenn) Bruns, Marshall; Dale (Deb) Bullerman, Adrian; Dean (Cindy) Bullerman, Adrian; Lolita Bullerman, Marshall; Delbert (Michelle) Bullerman, Adrian; and David (Ann) Bullerman, Adrian; daughter-in-law, Sharon Bullerman, Adrian; twenty three grandchildren; fifty two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Linneman, Clark, SD; and a sister-in-law, Theresa Spartz, Guatemala. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; A son, Doug Bullerman, in 2023; and a brother, John Spartz.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Thursday, May 22 at St. Adrian Church in Adrian; and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Funeral will be 10:30 am Friday at St. Adrian Church, in Adrian, officiated by Pastor Scott Peterson. Burial will be in the St. Adrian Cemetery in Adrian.
