CLARENCE BERNARD KREMER, age 102, of Worthington, died Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at the Touchmark All Saints Home, in Sioux Falls, SD. He was born May 5, 1918, in Mott, ND, to Barney and Caroline (Hoffman) Kremer. As a small child, Clarence moved with his family to the farm south of Wilmont. He attended school at St. Kilian Catholic School through the eighth grade.
Clarence married Dolores Entinger on October 6, 1941, at St. Columba Catholic Church in Iona. The couple farmed south of Iona for five years. Then they farmed north of Reading until moving to Worthington in 1975. Clarence retired in 1983, but still came to the farm continuing to help with farming until he reached the age of 95, then continued to drive to the farm during the spring and fall farming season, until the age of 100.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Worthington and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing cards. Clarence and Dolores loved traveling, especially wintering in Harlingen, TX.
Clarence is survived by his four children, Carol (Ray) Proulx, Milford, PA; Loren (Barbara) Kremer, Sioux Falls, SD; Alan Kremer, Worthington; and Charlene (Bill) Minett, Pewaukee, WI; eleven grandchildren, Nate Proulx, Anne (Peter) Daly, Cindy (John) O'Connor, Stacy (Scott) Lee, Darcy (Steve) Good, Robbie Kremer, Chad (Suzi) Kremer, Chris (Stacey) Kremer, Jessica (Jesse) Larson, Matthew (Jennifer) Moen and Daniel (Karin) Moen; thirty one great-grandchildren; a sister, Beverly Schreier, Slayton; and a sister-in-law, Bernadine Kremer, Fulda.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dolores on August 30, 2006; grandson, Zachary Moen on May 20, 2020; and three brothers, Ervin, Milfred "Stup" and Ivan "Ike" Kremer.
