IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clifford
Fueston
September 18, 1933 – October 17, 2024
CLIFFORD FUESTON, age 91, of Worthington, died Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Sunset Hospice Cottage in Worthington. He was born September 19, 1933, in St. Joseph, MO. As an adult, after years of searching for hope and purpose, he was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on 30 November 1957. Zealous service to his God Jehovah and caring for his international family of faith became his lifelong passion. It was within the framework of his faith that he found his soulmate and loyal lifelong companion, Nedra Kay (Calkins). They wed on 01 November 1958 and immediately began serving together as full time, volunteer missionaries, continuing in this work until the birth of their first son Matthew in 1960. Four years later, in 1964, their youngest son, Jordan was born. Throughout the following 64 years, Clifford and Nedra continued in the worship of their God and the pursuit of promoting pure worship, most notably in the care of the less fortunate, those who had sacrificed much in Jehovah God's service, the widows, the orphans, men, women and children, all regardless of national or racial background. His sons remember the many times that they fed, housed and encouraged, and otherwise supported Traveling Ministers and their wives, as well as many volunteer full time ministers of God's Word. If Clifford is to be remembered for anything, let it be this.
Clifford is survived by his oldest son and family, Matthew Clayton and Rhonda (Cline); grandson Luc Jordan and Myriam (Granados), grandson Gabriel Michael and Cristina (Vargas-Sanchez) and great granddaughter, Daphne, all of Worthington, MN, and granddaughter Meghen Rachelle of Chicago IL. Youngest son, Jordan LeRoy and Loretta (Beasley) of Leavenworth, KS, and brother, Clarence Stephen and Betty Fueston of St. Joseph, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Helen (Drowns); brothers, Chester "Clay", Charlie, Danny and Wayne; sister, Shirley; and his loving wife of 64 years, Nedra Kay (Calkins).
