CLYDE G. LYNN, age 82, of Adrian, died Thursday, March 2, 2006, at the Sioux Valley Hospital, in Sioux Falls, SD. He was born October 6, 1923, in rural Adrian, Westside Township, to Herbert and Sophia (Erdman) Lynn. As a young boy, Clyde lived with his family in Iowa. In the 1940?s, he moved to the family farm south of Lismore. Clyde married Maxine Farrell on September 14, 1948, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, in Lismore. After their marriage, the couple farmed in various locations in southwestern Minnesota. In 1958, they moved to the farm two miles west of Adrian. They retired and moved to Adrian in 1998. He was a member of St. Adrian Catholic Church, where he had served on the church council. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus; the Westside Township Board; and the Kanaranzi Water Shed Board. Clyde enjoyed farming, dancing, radio controlled airplanes, fishing trips to Canada and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Clyde is survived by his wife, Maxine Lynn, Adrian; five children and their spouses, Vickie & Gary Loosbrock, Lismore; Jim & Shellie Lynn, rural Adrian; Tom & Sandi Lynn, Sioux Falls, SD; Steve & Sharon Lynn, Adrian; and Joni & Bruce Aggen, Rushmore; sixteen grandchildren, Troy (Tammy), Todd (Amy), Tony (Nicolle), Lindsay, LaChelle (Andy), Elizabeth, Cliff, Amy (Jeff), Ryan (Dawn), Allisa (Justin), Tara (Brock), Jessica, Collin, Brandon, Carissa & Adam; ten great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Jeanette) Lynn, Lismore; Florence Voss, Adrian; Viola (Emmett) Skov, Omaha, NE; Ila (Jim) Daly, Des Moines, IA; Helen (Bill) McCann, Canton, SD; Irene (Lorin) Kruger, Austin; and Jeanne Rasmussen, Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Mark, in 1960; David, in 1972; and two sisters, Kaye Hage; and Darlene Smith.
