CYNTHIA (CINDY) SWENSON, age 56, of Hills, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at the Tuff Memorial Home in Hills. She was born August 30, 1954, in Hennepin County, Minnesota, to Eugene and Joann (Gillagan) Ekberg. She attended school in North Minneapolis area. She lived in the Robbinsdale area after her schooling. She later moved to Luverne where she lived for many years until most recently moving to the Tuff Memorial Home in April of this year. Cindy enjoyed music, cats, sewing, dancing and spending time with her family especially her five grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Chad (Andrea) Swenson, Sioux Falls; five grandchildren, Matthew Dillion, Joshua Charles, Noah James, Rebekah Marie Swenson all of Sioux Falls, and Chase Alexander Sharping, Worthington; a sister, Debra Christopherson, Minneapolis; brother Rick Beaupre, Minneapolis; brother-in-law, Joe Christopherson, Minneapolis, a nephew Eric Christopherson. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dale Ekberg, nephew, Aaron Christopherson and step-mother, Ellie Ekberg.
