DANIEL L. (DAN) EINCK, age 72, of Worthington, died Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Sunset Hospice Cottage in Worthington. He was born June 19, 1943 in Slayton to parents Peter and Elizabeth (Seivert) Einck. He attended Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School in Wilmont and graduated in 1961.
Dan was united in marriage to Lois Schmit on August 8, 1964 at St. Kilian Catholic Church. He worked as a cabinet maker and started his own business in 1978. Woodworking was his profession and also his hobby. He also enjoyed restoring and talking cars with his friends. He always had a story to tell and enjoyed a good laugh.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Worthington. Dan was very proud of his children, grandchildren; he was very giving and supportive of his family.
Dan is survived by his wife, Lois Einck, Worthington, MN; children, Monte (Denise) Einck, Hutchinson, MN; Brad (Marion) Einck, Minneapolis, MN; and Nathan Einck, Mankato, MN; six grandchildren, Allison, Makenna, Maxten, Iris, Charlotte and Vivian; his mother Betsy Einck, Worthington, MN.  He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Einck, sister Carol, father and mother-in-law, Henry and Charlotte Schmit.
A time of fellowship will be Saturday from 11 am to 1:00 pm at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Worthington. The Memorial Service will be Saturday at 1:00 pm at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father James Callahan officiating. Burial of the cremains will be at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.   Dingmann Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Worthington, is in charge of arrangements.
