DARYL JOUL FARAGHER, age 90, of Cresco, Iowa, formerly of Adrian and Worthington, Minnesota, died Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Regional Health Services of Howard County in Cresco, Iowa.? He was born June 8, 1919 in Adrian to parents, Ray and Minnie (Joul) Faragher.? He graduated from Adrian High School and later attended Nettleton Business College in Sioux Falls.? Daryl farmed on the home farm after college.? ? Daryl was united in marriage on June 7, 1941 to Dorothy Essman in Ellsworth, Minnesota. After their marriage, the couple farmed north of Ellsworth before moving to Adrian in 1975.? While living in Adrian, he was a salesman for Moorman?s Feed. Dorothy preceded him in death on October 4, 1994.? After her death Daryl moved to Worthington. ???On May 16, 1997, Daryl was united in marriage to Vicki Thooft and the couple made their home in Worthington. In September of 2008, Daryl moved to Cresco, Iowa to be closer to his daughters.????????? ??Daryl was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Worthington and a former member of the Zion Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth.? Daryl was a people person, he enjoyed dancing, especially the polka and he also enjoyed listening to Big Band music and fishing with his friends.? He was a long time member of the Lions Club and served as District Governor, also a member of the Elk?s in Worthington. He enjoyed his time at the Howard County Residential Facility and was very thankful for the care and fellowship there. ?
