DAVID SIMONS, age 61, of Adrian, died Saturday, September 18, 2010, at his home. He was born December 23, 1948, in Sioux City, IA, to Alvie and Hazel (Frye) Simons. He served his country in the United States Army. Dave married Donna Miller on December 14, 2004, in Sioux Falls, SD. After their marriage, the couple lived in Adrian. Dave worked at Fullerton Building Systems in Worthington. He enjoyed his music and motorcycling. Dave is survived by his wife, Donna Simons, Adrian; daughter, Cassandra Nelson, Sioux City, IA; grandson, Devon Nelson; four great grandchildren; four brothers, Bill (Shany) Simons, Utica, SD; Fred (Alice) Simons, North Sioux City, SD; Mikel (Mary) Simons, Alpine, CA; and Danny (Luz) Simons, Rock Rapids, IA; two sisters, Pat (Ernie) Joens, Florida; and Barb Young, North Sioux City, SD; three step children, John Ennen, Mandan, ND; Jill Ennen, Coleridge, NE; and Jerry (Tara) Ennen, Indianapolis, IN; thirteen step grandchildren; and one step great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Simons; and a sister, Nita Strickland. A private funeral service will take place at a later date
