DELBERT MICHAEL DePAUW, age 55, of Luverne, died Monday, July 14, 2008, at the Sanford Hospice Cottage in Luverne. He was born November 18, 1952, in Luverne, to Albert and Lorraine (Irwin) DePauw. He was baptized & confirmed at St. Catherine Catholic Church. Delbert graduated from Luverne High School in 1971. He lived most of his life in Luverne where he worked at Luverne Bumper for over twenty seven years. He was an active member of the Luverne Eagles Club, where he had served as Past President. He enjoyed playing & coaching softball, golf and spending time with his family. Delbert is survived by his seven brothers, Dale ?Ozzie? (Arlene) DePauw, Rapid City, SD; Keith (Dorla) DePauw, Sioux Falls, SD; Dennis (Julia) DePauw, Bryceville, FL; Albert (Joyce) DePauw, Sioux Falls, SD; Darrell ?Butch? (Barb) DePauw, Huron, SD; Dean DePauw, Sun Prairie, WI; and Burdette (Maxine) DePauw, Gurnee, IL; four sisters, Delores Kasemodel, Merrimac, WI; Eileen Roemeling, Sioux Falls, SD; Carol (Charlie) Henderson, Worthington; and Sheila (Steven) Kluever, Worthington; brother-in-law, Don Engel, Huron, SD; and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marlys Engel; brother-in-law, Delmer Kasemodel; and a sister-in-law, Carol DePauw. A tree will be planted in memory of Delbert DePauw, by Sanford Hospice in Luverne.
