(Berger) Roos
August 4, 1933 – February 10, 2017
DELORES LOUISE ROOS, age 83, of Buffalo, MN, formerly of Worthington, died Friday, February 10, 2017, at the Parkview Care Center in Buffalo. She was born August 4, 1933 in Worthington to Ralph and Myrna "Mickey" (Arneson) Berger. She grew up and attended school in Worthington.
Delores was united in marriage to Stanley Roos on July 12, 1951, in Worthington. Delores worked for Berger Transfer as a Secretary-Bookkeeper. She then became the Supervisor of Nobles County License Center at the courthouse.
She was a member of the Assemblies of God Church, in Worthington, where she played the organ for over forty years, taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, was involved in Missionettes and women's ministries. Delores taught accordion and piano lessons. She enjoyed flower gardening, bus tours, traveling and spending time with her family.
Delores is survived by her husband, Stanley Roos, Buffalo; four children, Sheryl (David) Nichols, Rush City; Ronald (Louene) Roos, Elk River; Susan (Tim) Kolbeck, Cottage Grove; and Barbara Kruse, Fulda; son-in-law, Ken (Kathy) Filipi, Custer, SD; fifteen grandchildren, Joel Nichols, Nathan Nichols, Samuel Nichols, Daniel Nichols, Jayme Roos, Kimberly Siedlecki, Donovan Roos, Jolene Henderson, Jody Ockwig, Tyler Kolbeck, Kari Filipi, Kelsey Blood, John Kruse, Sara Kruse, and Travis Kruse; twenty nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Dennis (Clara) Berger, Worthington; and Dudley (Sheri) Berger, St. Peter; and a sister, Deanna (Leonard) Salvig, Rockford, IL.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Kathy Filipi.
Funeral will be 6:30 PM Tuesday, with visitation one hour prior, at the Park Terrace Assisted Living Chapel in Buffalo. Funeral services will continue 10:30 AM Thursday, with visitation one hour prior, at the Solid Rock Assembly of God Church, in Worthington, officiated by Pastor Bob Christenson. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Worthington.
