DONALD CHARLES LOGER, age 86, of Luverne, died Friday, September 11, 2020, at the Regions Hospital in St. Paul. He was born May 17, 1934, in Kanaranzi, to Charles and Anna (Kuper) Loger. Donald attended Luverne High School and graduated in 1953.

Donald loved to have a good time and enjoyed things like golf, fishing, playing pinochle and solitaire, and playing softball. Although he had polio, Donald was the pitcher on his fast pitch softball team and would even bat in the line-up and have a teammate run the bases for him.

Donald is survived by his sister, Doris Kemerling, Luverne; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant siblings; two sisters, Marion and Evelyn; and a brother, Eddie.

A time of fellowship will be Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, with a prayer service at 5:30, at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Luverne, officiated by Deacon Kevin Aaker. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
