DONNA A. JOHNSON, age 70, of Worthington, died Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at the Sogge Good Samaritan Home, in Windom. She was born April 16, 1936, in Cherokee, IA, to Roy and Ellen (Harvey) Holtgrewe. She graduated from Remsen Union High School in 1955. Donna married Donald Johnson on June 28, 1955, in Remsen, IA. After their marriage, the couple farmed in the Remsen and Marcus, IA areas. In January of 1970, they moved to the farm north of Brewster. They moved to the farm north of Rushmore in 1986. In May of 2000, they retired and moved to Worthington. Donna became a resident of the Sogge Good Samaritan Home, in Windom, in November of 2006. She was a former member of the Brewster Trinity Lutheran Church, where she had taught Sunday School. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, cooking & especially spending time with her grandchildren. Donna is survived by her husband, Donald Johnson, Windom; five children and their spouses, Dennis & Deb Johnson, Brewster; Louise & Jim Naumann, Brewster; Karen & Kim Rowley, Reading; Brian & Carmen Johnson, Brewster; and Lori & Steve Burdick, Heron Lake; fourteen grandchildren, Wendy (Neil) Frodermann, Nichole (Fianc?e, Dustin Post) Johnson, Lisa Johnson, Christopher & Andrew Naumann, Angela (Eric) Murray, Adam Hagerman, Allan & Alivia Rowley, Anthony, Jennifer & Katy Johnson, and Bradlee & Jacob Burdick; seven great grandchildren, Cody, Christine & Corrine Frodermann, Mason Johnson, Tyree & Tia Murray, and Jacob Hagerman; and a sister, Sandra (Dennis) Mouw, Sheldon, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant granddaughter; and an infant sister, Janice Holtgrewe.
