DOREEN MARIE WIESE, age 80, of Luverne, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at the Sanford Luverne Medical Center. She was born January 21, 1941, in St. Augusta, MN to Leo and Sylvia (Buerskin) Kiffmeyer. She graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School; and moved to Minneapolis in 1961.

Doreen married Robert "Ike" Wiese in 1963 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waite Park, MN. The couple moved to Luverne in 1966. They enjoyed wintering in Mesa, AZ. Doreen worked at AR Wood Manufacturing and Smith Furniture in Luverne. She later worked at The Furniture House.

She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Luverne. She enjoyed camping, boating, riding motorcycle, card making flower gardening and especially her grandchildren & great-grandchild.

She is survived by her husband, Ike Wiese, Luverne; son, Dan (Lisa) Wiese, Luverne; two grandchildren, Alex (Stacey) Wiese and Tanner Wiese; a great-granddaughter, Cali Wiese; five brothers, Clem (Evelyn) Kiffmeyer, Marvin (Diane) Kiffmeyer, Bob (Joni) Kiffmeyer, Vernon Kiffmeyer and Gene (Darlene) Kiffmeyer; and a sister, Carol Lafond.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Scott Wiese; a brother, Roger Kiffmeyer; two sisters-in-law, Bev and Dorothy Kiffmeyer; and a brother-in-law, John Lafond.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Home in Luverne. A private family graveside service will be at a later date.
